Artist's Comments
This piece was done entirely in photoshop, though parts of the armor were taken from a previous zbrush sculpt. I wanted this to be a calm image, but with an intense character. We never see characters like this surrendering or calling a truce, so I thought it was an interesting element to imply that with the flag in his hand.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
