Here's a demo I did in a recent class I instructed on concept design. By combining matte painting and photo editing techniques, you can quickly achieve something like this. I'm not saying it's easy friends, BUT it does get easier over time with practice!
I am having trouble with maintaining the sharpness.Most of my works looks blurry.I don't have a wacom tablet .I have a low quality tablet Iball company.
Is it tablet is the problem for jaggy or blurry edges or my method of painting.
I strongly recommend a tablet, much easier to work on art that way....try getting a used Bamboo, maybe $50?? And you want to use somewhat hi res photography to avoid the blur

But is this technique will effect our creativity. I mean painting over a photo lacks creativity just makes unsatisfied with the finished work.
